Campus Antisemitism Continues

A largely failed attempt to place ads for a pro-Israel book in ten universities' student papers illustrates the double standard by which many students as well as faculty and administrators treat anti-Israel protestors, on one hand, and Israel supporters on the other. Every university approached recently by Seattle-based Discovery Institute on behalf of The Israel Test by George Gilder, a pro-Israel work published by Encounter Books, has experienced anti-Israel demonstrations. Some had riots. Yet most were treated by authorities with appeasement or even encouragement. Read More ›

Israel’s Coming Attack Will Also Assist Ukraine

The next battle in the Middle East may be played out in the skies above Iran. The outcome obviously is meant to help Israel, but may well assist Ukraine, too. If "the enemy of my enemy is my friend," Israel and Ukraine are friends already, and even quiet allies. Read More ›

Are We Passing the Israel Test? George Gilder Appears on The Bill Walton Show

George Gilder sat down with Bill Walton to discuss the new edition of his book The Israel Test. Gilder makes the case that Israel's accomplishments are worthy of our admiration, not our envy, that we are dependent on Israel for much of our technology, and that our support of Israel at this crucial moment in history is vital to the future of the West. Exploding Hezbollah Devices Show Need for Ending U.S. Timidity on Israel Aid, Says The Israel Test Author, George Gilder

"The exploding pagers and radios of Hezbollah point not only to the tactical brilliance of Israeli technicians (who are likely responsible) but also to the largely unacknowledged value of Israel to our own defense." This is the view of Discovery Institute co-founder George Gilder, author of The Israel Test and increasingly a critic of current U.S. and European half-way measures in support of Israel. Read More ›

Myth and Reality of Israel’s Success

Allysia Finley of the Wall Street Journal does us all a favor in her column, “Our enemies are the CEO’s…Our comrades are in Gaza,” describing the labor Union SEIU units that are seeking to portray Israel’s vital and pathfinding  economy as the product capitalism and colonialism. They get the historical facts wrong, she writes, quoting at length from George Gilder. Read More ›

Israel at War

I've been to Israel four times. The first visit was a vacation in 2015. While many Americans experience Israel in a group during an extended tour, we traveled alone and booked day guides or specific tours. We started in Jerusalem, spent a day in Masada and the Dead Sea, spent the Sabbath in Tiberias and ended the trip in Tel Aviv. Read More ›
