Our Mission
The mission of Discovery Institute is to advance a culture of purpose, creativity and innovation. We are not here by accident, but on purpose. We are designed as exceptional beings, endowed with responsibilities and creative capacities unique to human beings. We are made to discover and innovate in the face of the challenges we face. As an organization inspired by a common mission, the staff and fellows of Discovery enjoy a unity of purpose and camaraderie that is a highlight of being a discoverer.

Our Office
Most of Discovery’s staff office out of the Pioneer District in Seattle, WA. The office is a few blocks from the waterfront and the bustling and beautiful Occidental Square. It’s situated at the center point of regional public transport lines: trains arriving from the North and South at King Street Station, ferries from across the Sound, and one of the nation’s most ubiquitous bus services. A transit pass is one benefit of employment.
