The Center’s logo features an eclipse. Eclipses depend on precise geometries between the sun, earth, and moon and provide a galactic clock, making our human history uniquely observable (see The Privileged Planet). It is a fitting symbol of science at its predictive best and of light surpassing darkness. The typeface is Trajan.
