Dr. Mathew Manweller is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Central Washington University. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Whitman College, his Master’s degree in Political Theory from the University of Montana and his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Oregon. He is the author of numerous journal articles, books, and conference papers on subjects ranging from democratic theory, Public Choice economics, Constitutional law, and state courts. He has also written for the Washington Times, Seattle Times and other regional papers. He has served as the Chair of the Central Washington University Faculty and on the Executive Committee for the Pacific Northwest Political Science Association.
