On Tuesday, October 14, 2008, after a five-week election campaign, Canadians will go to the polls to form a new government.
The next day, Discovery Institute will host a forum that will focus on the outcome of the election and the implications for Canada and the US. Participants will also discuss the electoral process of both countries and what Americans can learn from Canada. Bruce Chapman, President of Discovery Institute, will lead the discussion featuring Roger Simmons, former Consul General of Canada and Don Alper, Professor and Director, Center for Canadian-American Studies and Border Policy Research Institute, Western Washington University.
