"Greening The Highway" Leadership Forum

In partnership with Athena Institute, Discovery Institute's Cascadia Center is organizing a "Greening the Highway" leadership forum in Seattle on Weds. Sept. 19 to address the challenges of developing alternative fuels, electrification, and reducing diesel emissions on the I-5 corridor from British Columbia to Baja California. It is designed for policymakers, NGOs, key agencies and businesses.

POST-EVENT UPDATE
The Green Highways leadership forum was held as planned Sept. 19 in Seattle and gave participants a range of perspectives on alternative fuel infrastructure and green car development; diesel fuel emission reduction programs; and related West Coast collaborative strategies. We expect to be providing - on this same page - a number of the PowerPoint presentations, as soon as we have pdf file versions available. We also anticipate completion of a Cascadia Center white paper on the topic, in coming months, which we will make available on our Web site's Research page, and through other means.
