ANCHOR: "They may not make your commute any less hectic, but they would certainly make it cleaner."

BRUCE AGNEW, CASCADIA CENTER: "We've got everything from the first all-electric Ford Focus to come to the Northwest, to a Ford (all-electric) pickup truck. We've got electric bikes, I'm just looking at the lot here, we've got (all-electric) Toyotas, Nissans, we've got the new, fast Tesla sports car."

ANCHOR: "Bruce Agnew of the Cascadia Center is at the sixth annual (Cascadia-Microsoft) transportation and technology conference, at the Microsoft campus today. They hope to convince governments to swith to plug-in electric vehicles to protect the environmnent."

BRUCE AGNEW, CASCADIA CENTER: "For instance, an inter-city bus can come in, with its rapid charge system, and get completely recharged in about half an hour."

ANCHOR: "The sixth annual transportation and technology conference features plug-in electric vehicles and new high-speed charging stations where they can plug in."
